Description
A small but compact plate of Promicroceras ammonites found on the Jurassic coast east of Lyme regis.
The many ammonites came to rest together in one plane indicating a sudden catastrophe, possibly a storm. This is a really neat little block.
Largest ammonite 1.5cm. Matrix 8cmx 3.5cmx2cm.
